Hey Jarvis is operated by BPS Group, a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the browser version of the Service. For the downloadable version, all data is processed locally on your hardware and we have no access to it.

2. What data we collect

Account data: Email address and name when you create an account.

Usage data: Basic analytics (pages visited, feature usage) to improve the Service. No voice recordings are stored from the browser version.

Payment data: Processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store card details.

Local version: The downloadable version processes all voice and conversation data on your machine. No data is transmitted to our servers.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send important service notifications
  • Improve the Service based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage and security

Data is stored on servers located in the United Kingdom. All connections are encrypted using TLS. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation data from the browser version is retained for 30 days to provide conversation history, then automatically deleted. You can delete all your data at any time from the dashboard.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Erase your personal data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO

We use essential cookies required for the Service to function (authentication, session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
