3Tips for Best Results

  • Use a headset or external microphone for clearer voice capture.
  • Speak naturally — Jarvis understands full sentences, not just keywords.
  • Wait for the orb to pulse blue before speaking; that means Jarvis is listening.
  • If Jarvis misunderstands, say "No, I said..." and repeat your request.
  • Keep your browser tab in the foreground — background tabs may lose microphone access.
  • For the local version, close GPU-heavy apps to free up VRAM for faster responses.
  • Enable plugins from the dashboard to unlock smart-home control, calendar, email, and more.

4Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't Jarvis hear me?

Ensure your browser has microphone permissions enabled. Check your system sound settings to confirm the correct input device is selected. A wired headset often gives the best results.

Does it work in noisy environments?

Jarvis uses noise suppression, but very loud backgrounds can reduce accuracy. Try moving to a quieter spot or use a close-talking microphone.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome and Edge on desktop offer the best experience. Safari and Firefox are supported but may have limited microphone API features. The downloadable version bypasses browser limitations entirely.

Is my voice data stored?

With the local/downloadable version, all processing happens on your machine — nothing is sent anywhere. The browser version uses encrypted connections and voice data is never stored permanently.

Can I use Jarvis on mobile?

Yes. The browser version works on any mobile browser. A dedicated mobile app with always-on listening is planned for later this year.
